Describe the leak, without the plumbing vocabulary
Water near a toilet or basin can be difficult to trace. When you call, describe where you first notice it and whether it appears after flushing, running a tap or using the shower. That helps me decide what to investigate when I arrive.
I can look at leaking connections, faulty toilet mechanisms and tap fittings, then discuss repair or replacement. A wet patch does not automatically mean the whole fitting needs replacing. Equally, I won’t promise a particular repair before checking what is causing the problem.
For a plumbing visit in Uphill, I’ll need your postcode, contact number and a description of the job. Mention any access restrictions, especially if the pipework is behind a panel. I provide free, no-obligation quotes and will explain if the work needs another specialist.
Before you call
- Say when the water appears and which fitting you have used.
- Mention any previous repair to the same problem.
- Explain whether pipes are visible or behind a panel.
